    Pipe Dope - have you used it?

    All of my fittings have o-rings, I just wanted the most secure connection. All of my barbs are fat-boys, and the threads are not tapered. I will go without the pipe dope - I have concerned about it making my fluid conductive anyhow.

    Unfortunately this stuff dries pretty quickly. It's just distilled water with like a 1-50 mix of whatever goes in coolant. No idea, SMELLS a bit like anti-freeze

    It doesn't need a new mobo, because when I take out the video card and clean it, it boots up, but it like melts the coolant once its reinserted and over time the card craps out.

    I think you're plan sounds like overkill honestly. Also vinegar is corrosive. If you dont have algae problems, why this kind of intensity for cleaning?
