I believe I remember reading somewhere that the monitor is beautiful buuuut...... It has mouse lag due to its screen size. That's what I heard... I think it was on www.newegg.com -- look the monitor up and read the user reviews.
Hmm. Maybe I will go pick one up at costco to test it out. I cant find reviews on it anywhere. I did see somewhere that its dot pitch is higher than normal for LCDs and that's why it's not as expensive as other 22" montiors... but other than that nothing... :/
Okay the topic says it all... Anyone know anything about this monitor? 5ms... 22"s.... only $399.... Uhh....... Help? ;). I have the Viewsonic VX2025 but if this is true, I would trade it in for the Acer in a heart beat... Almost the same price, faster response time, and 2" bigger!
For the viewsonic backlighting is only apparent on a completley black screen (in the corners). I never noticed it while gaming... even when looking for it.
As for the gateway, there is none atall. It's a solid monitor.
As for the dell.. I have no clue :(. If they sold these in stores...
After much thought and testing, i've decided both of these are solid monitors; but I just can't jusify spending $150 more for the Gateway. The Viewsonic is much better for competitive gamers hands down.
I have the 7900GT CO (Clocked at 550 instead of 500) from eVGA. It runs games fine. the frames can drop to the 30s in big gun fights (at 1680x1050), but it's nothing that's going to kill you. At first I thought I needed to upgrade to the 7900GTX or 7950, but I decided not to. HL2, BF2...

Check out my post I did a couple days ago. I talk about the VX2025wm vs the Gateway. I am also a gamer so I have lots of pics of games :) as well.
I don't know how old this post is, but check out http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1077102 -- I have both monitors and I compare them to eachother
Okay. This might be a long review with a lot of pictures; so please bear with me as I am also a LCD review virgin :). Keep in mind that I am a gamer, so I base most of my review strictly on gaming.
Okay, first off I am going to list the Pros and Cons of each monitor individually Then I...
