I'd avoid Gateway like the plague. I have an 18mo old FPD 2185W on my desk that's been replaced once and now since it's out of warranty by a few months, developed a vertical yellow stripe on the screen. Googled the problem and it seems common with Gateways. Tech support is heartless...

I agree, I've had several DFI's and all except the venus board had some sort of problem. I'm using an ASUS that has been rock solid stable for near 18 months. Now that I've bragged about my mobo, I can expect a major disaster in a few days.

Yes, but it's the OEM version. I already have one up and running but was just curious why the regular version not for sale at most resellers when they were everywhere a few weeks ago.

I'd avoid anything Gateway just because some reliability issues and horrible customer service.

Sorry about your monitor, luckily you have warranty, I have a gateway FPD2185W with a similar line but yellow in color. If you find a solution, please post. Are there places that actually fix out of warranty monitors? Good luck

I was suckered in on the gateway too and am now paying the price. I think it'll make a good boat anchor. Seriously, I question the durability of gateway monitors and near zero back up. I have to admit that they really look good but I want something that will go for a couple of years or more.

I agree 100%, so far mine is a great monitor for the money. I was surprised at the quality of the display!! I was worried about the panels untill I installed the monitor and now could care less.

Gateways look great and appear to be great monitors but I went through a nightmare trashing a expensive gateway monitor after a short lifespan. Be sure to check the warranty and get three years before buying gateway and check resellersratings to see why gateway products and customer service...

It worked, I can change memory voltage now!!!! Thanks for all the suggestions, they are still scratching heads at MSI but the real pros (you guys) gave me the correct advice. I really appreciate your help!!! :)

Thanks Usama, the system clock made no difference. Wrote to MSI support and they sent me a new bios v1.22 3/15/2007. I flashed the bios and am still unable to unlock memory voltage.

I am setting up my new P6N SLI Platnum Bios V1.1 02/09/2007 and am having a problem. I cant can't change the memory voltage in the bios in the cell menu, I was able to manually set the ram timings ( Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400-C4) but the mem voltage, NB voltage, SB voltage are all "greyed out"...
