    I'm running Napp-it 0.8 without problems, should I follow the rule of "if it's not broken, don't upgrade ?" or is it relatively riskfree to upgrade to 0.9 ? Has anybody got VAAI working with Comstar and NAPP-IT ?

    THANKS !! Will you be starting a FAQ or Wiki type of FAQ so that answers don't have to be repeated. While your quickstart is great, I find that there are things that we need that are already there in your GUI but we are just not finding it.

    The challenge is that I want to have a text base for 1 reason, when I use the text base and when I use the NAPP-IT web gui, I can see the commands sent by NAPP-IT and that helps me.. so that's the MAIN reason and if I can get that back, I'll be real happy !!

    Qlogic FC card firmware error

    I have a Qlogic 4 port FC card and one of the port is complainting firmware error. I can see 4 ports but 1 of the ports show the firmware version as NA. Anybody know if there is a way to fix this ? I'm running comstar with openindiana and the problem occurs after a fault..

    @Dalfo002, Just want to say THANKS and it works great. Not sure the benefit though as the performance seems the same and I could only select the first disk as the bootdisk. Exactly the same as the IR firmware. It hang when I attempt to login to the IR firmware.

    Not necessarily. It could be the TOE implementation on the specific NIC that cut across different OS. It could be on either side of the coin, no easy solution, my bet would be to google "network performance" + your NIC model, and hope someone encounter a similar problem..

    In my case, snapshots won't be feasible. In addition, in my case, the clone VM grew much larger than the master VM. I guess the bottomline is that I probably need to test it out myself !!
