Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Dude my 9700 is still holding up to this day! I can play games at great resolutions. The frame rate isn't too good, but this card is pure muscle. No one can deny that.
I recently purchased some new parts off of Newegg. I got a 3500+ Vinece CPU, a N8 NF4 Mobo, 6800GT and 2GB of ram. Later did I find out that I bought a bad PSU. I bought a thermaltake 560 watt PSU but it doesnt support PCI-E unless I buy an adapter, and people told me that it was overall bad...
I really hope Quake 4 multiplayer follows where Quake 3 left off. I'm all for a great single player story, but if Raven nails the MP, man it will be awesome. Sadly though, Raven isn't well known for great MP code. But with id at the helm, I'm sure they'll help Raven fix whatever problems they...
Like people have stated, you won't see any real benefit by using two. If you want to buy them just to know you have the power, ok then, do it. But it's not realistic to do that at this point and time. I would suggest springing for a 6800GT now, and wait until the next really good line of 512...
I was just wondering if I got the right type of ram for my CPU/Mobo:
Corsair TWINX Dual Channel 1024MB PC3200 DDR 400MH (C13-5102 PT )
I had to buy it off of Tiger instead of newegg. Will that fit my mobo?
this is my mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131524...
The 2GB ram is 4 sticks... I know somone told me I should look into just two 1GB sticks so that I can upgrade later, but Newegg was out, so I had to opt for buying them somewhere else. And the DB can't be louder than my Alienware right now. This thing has 4 fans that just blare man. I've grown...
