Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thanks for the input Zero.
I'm still worried though, cause like I said, I'm reading that people did 3.6GHz OC's with this cooler and don't go past 60-65c. I did a 3.6GHz OC and I was hitting 80c during stressing. :(
I may have found the problem to my heat issue. I decided to reapply thermal paste, but instead of just a blob in the center, this time I opted to spread it out evenly with my credit card.
After retesting and seeing the same temps, I decided to take off the heatsink and maybe put a tad more...
Hi,
I recently bought a Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 heatsink to OC my i7.
I think my Noctua heatsink may be faulty though... upon opening it the top fin was bent/crushed. I rebent into place, but maybe it doesn't work as well.
If anyone has this combo of hardware, please post your temps...
I have the exact same problem. The fan has this ticking/rattling sound and it's really pissing me off!
I tugged on the fan wire but it seems to have restarted. I think I'll have to RMA... but by the looks of it I'll probably just get another card with the same problem.
What's a good...
