    SP35P2 specs & check list

Personally I'd stay away from the OCZ Memory, I went through 4 sticks of OCZ 1GB PC-8500 ram and, no mater what I tried, I never even got it to post. I eventually got 2 sticks of 1GB Corsair Dominator PC-8500 running at 1040MHz and it's been running reliably ever since.

SP35P2 Pro - Pictures and Initial Impressions

canislupy- Sorry for taking so long to reply, I eventually got 2 sticks of 1GB PC8500 Corsair Dominator (which only clear the Power Supply by 5mm when installed) which has been running stable at 5-5-5-15 2.10v @ 1040MHz for several days now, the processor is running at 345x9 without a hitch...

Ouch indeed, that's $300 worth of ram just sitting there collecting dust!

The 2x2GB kit will work well. I knew there was some sort of limit to the amount of ram you could use in a 32bit system. Definitely sucks that in a 4x1GB setup you only get 20% of the forth stick. The rest of the setup works great, the only issue was the OCZ ram, I've been limping along with a...

Another noobie question, I didn't realize you could run 2GB sticks on a 32 bit system. I'll order them today.

Still no luck, at this point I'm nearly convinced I just happened to get 4 bad sticks, I'm running XP Pro, if I decide to abandon this ram, what would be your recomendation for a replacement? I was thinking of 2GB of 1066MHz. Dominator, or should I stick with 800MHz.?

It's Alive!! Well, it turns out that the problem was the ram. I went to Circuit City and bought a 512MB stick of Kingston PC-667 and the thing came to life. However, I hate to see 4GB of memory turn into paperweights, I have 4GB of OCZ PC-1066 5-5-5-15 ram which is actually on shuttle's...

As for the Solid capacitors: http://us.shuttle.com/barebone/Models/sp35p2_pro.html After what AA Man said I'm definitely thinking that the fan shroud on the video card is at fault, particularly since the 8800GTS 640MB KO ACS3 has a shroud which extends to the end of the card whereas a 8800...

SP35P2 Pro - Pictures and Initial Impressions

A Man, It is still lifeless, I got the HD at Best Buy, the floppy drive and DVD Burner at TigerDirect, the case at Mwave, and everything else at NewEgg. I've tried nearly every combination of ram and slots I can think of, one moved from slot to slot, one in both red slots, one in both green...

SP35P2 Pro - Pictures and Initial Impressions

I did try clearing the CMOS, even to the extent of pulling the battery and letting it sit for a few minutes. I did try swapping one stick from slot to slot (but knowing my luck I was probably moving the same bad stick around).

SP35P2 Pro - Pictures and Initial Impressions

Just so there's no question, I'm a complete n00bie, this is my first computer build. I got my SP35P2 on Monday and as far as I can tell I've assembled it correctly, the only odd thing is that the shroud on my graphics card rubs on the Oasis and the card is skewed slightly because of this. The...

P35 and X38-based Shuttles coming real soon

I ordered a SP35P2 from ZZF on 10/04 but it seems I was too late (assuming there were any to be had in the first place). According to Costumer Service, they should have more by the beginning of November. I would be curious to hear if anyone was able to get one.
