    1) Nintendo has always been good at managing it's money. Even during the N64 and GameCube era, they always had more than plenty of cash on hand. 2) The Wii is hardly future landfill waste. I purchased quite a few games (most all Nintendo's...) for the system and that alone was worth the price tag.

    Speedfan is a great way to control your fans. I don't recommend turning your fans off completely, but Speedfan will let you do it if that's what you really want to do.
