    another observation using SUPER PI I get errors running these settings: CPU 2247 (multiper of 9), HTT 249, Mem 204 (166 or 5:6 if you like) but if I run a CPU 2050 (mult 10), HTT 205, Mem 205 (200 or 1:1 if you like) I get no errors.     HT Link, to go over 1000 or not?

    So here is my question. I have seen some say you want to keep the HT link close to 1000, But why? I have mine to 1500 running prime with no problems. I benched it running my a64 3200+ @ 2409 htt 301 mem 200 with HT link x4 and x5 and didnt see much change. BUT, if it will run 1500, why not? Chris

    i have memtest on a bootable cd. new observation. If you move the HTT to fast or to much with clockgen, even within limits of tested and ok speeds, I get a lock up or a reboot. right now I am retesting my cpu, but doing it slower (1-2mhz HTT bumps) and on lower voltages. I am still stumped...

    did everything with clearing cmos. still getting stupid reboots at slowe than it has tested speeds. maybe I should retest, but I dont think it will help.     I just had something new happen. this was really screwy. using clock gen to up my HTT 3mhz at a time while running superpi 32m test. cpu mult 9x, ram 5:6. Weirdness happened @ 241 HTT.
