    Headphone > RCA stereo receiver / amp bookshelf speakers If you play your cards right you can have better quality sound more bass AND less of a footprint for cheaper. If you need help i got your back 100%.

    I think i can answer for him... each sub has it's own plate amp on the back of it... looks like his source unit is just a Sony HT receiver
