They both use the same panel as S2740L, and it certainly is a very good panel. I'm liking it more and more. Compared to my 4 year old Benq E2200 monitor (TN), you just can't compare the colors, at all.

I am very impressed by the performance of this monitor. Zero input lag and I do not notice any ghosting, but I am aware that it uses a pretty heavy overdrive (which can't be adjusted), which causes some overshoot. NCX demonstrates it in his review, but myself I haven't noticed it yet...
So I've played around a little bit with S2740L and I was expecting a lot worse regarding the resolution. 1080p is completely fine and I can absolutely not see the pixels unless I get under 2 feet or so.
I was also looking for a decent 27" IPS for a good price, but didn't want to go with a Korean either due to warranty and you don't know how long they will last.
So I went for a S2740L and I'm getting it later today. 1080p is a completely fine resolution for me,(personal preference). I'm coming...
