Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I bought a 2nd video card this morning, a PNY 7300 GS, and had the same results. So, is the general consensus the processor is at fault, or should I try swapping out the motherboard as well?

I have removed and re-seated the processor and heatsink, didn't have an effect. Don't have enough thermal paste to try again.
I think the basics are functioning properly. If you try to boot without ram, it goes nowhere, same with CPU. If you boot with, it starts as you would expect, and...
I don't have another PCI Express card to try - my previous system had AGP. I have tried the card in both sockets. The auxillary power to the card is connected and its fan spins up. After unmounting everything and re-installing, I reset the CMOS for good measure but have had no luck.
I put together the parts for my new system yesterday, but am not having success. When the power button is pressed, the fans all come on, the hard drive acess light lights, everything does what it should, except no video comes up on the display. There are no beep codes or anything. The display...
Thanks for the responses.
