Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
thanks for the tip, i'm sad to know that it's BIOS issue.
AWARD Bios powaaaa
I've tested the controller on my other gigabyte m/b and i've downgraded P410 firmware to 3.66 and it work like charm, but no 2TB+ HDD support.
If i use 6.40 FW i fall in reboot loop.
I've no problem...
nobody has idea of the problem ?
i bypass the boot problem by connect an SSD on the onboard marvell disk controller of the motherboard and boot on it, the logical drives on the P410 are detected and i can read/write data on them but can't boot on the P410 :(
Hi to all :),
For testing purpose, i'm currently trying to build a Virtualization Server at home.
I recycled a Gigabyte EX58-UD3R m/b with core I7 920 CPU.
The i/o performance was horrible so i purchase an HP Smart Array P410 with 256MB cache and battery to fix this.
It's an headache...
