Help me find the cheaper U2412M alternative

Ha ha nope, nowhere near of any reasonable price. The Acer is available through Amazon at 23000 INR, which is more than what a Dell U2415 sells (21000 INR), or a BenQ BL2411PT (19000 INR), and the Samsung model is nowhere to be seen. I chose the models in OP after loads of hours of reading. I...

Help me find the cheaper U2412M alternative

So just 3 days ago my 4 year old U2412M shows a broken panel (when turned on) despite it not having any impact with anything, whatever, I've to purchase something and it has to be cheap, so after reading for hours I've shortlisted 3 monitors, now you experienced people please help me to select...

What are you trying to pull there? I don't understand what that time stamp means!

    IPS a fuss?

No, also quote the whole line. Course I do. How long did it take you to understand that? It is posted very clearly on first post! I will, when I have the time. As I said, not everyone in the world has the time to do post purchase stuffs, also this isn't the cheapest monitor out there as well...

    IPS a fuss?

No, it's not. My phone is displaying accurate colours than my monitor, I will say that as many times as needed, because it is the fact. Course you can, but not in the topic which I created and you couldn't keep things civilised. I know what accurate colours are, it's not rocket science...

    IPS a fuss?

As I said, stay out of this topic, if this is giving you a problem. Or unless I am reporting your previous post. This is not a threat, just saying what I am going to do. If you can't keep things civilised, then be it, I am game. I have read Anand's review several times, before buying, after...

    IPS a fuss?

Then maybe you speak something else but English. My want is extremely clear, only if could read the OP! My phone doesn't provide oversaturated colours, do you even have a Note 3? I never said I need super blacks, everyone loves it, but as I said, I was prepared to make the compromise. If this...

    IPS a fuss?

Here, my topic on Anand, http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2376230&highlight= All right. So as of this date, if one is looking for a good IPS monitor (or any monitor which will have very good colour saturation etc., honestly I don't care about panel type any more), say at around 400...

    IPS a fuss?

Zero Research? No! I simply asked you experienced users, and more or less everyone said U2412M is the unit I should aim for, at least in my budget. PS: Oh, and you could not be more wrong about the phone's display.

    IPS a fuss?

No, I don't like that, but that's exactly what I'm getting from my U2412M ;)

    IPS a fuss?

Colour uniformity of IPS is miles better than TN panels, no one can ignore that. But I'm not a person who looks at a display from the very left top corner to the extreme right bottom corner, I mostly see at the centre of the frame, and there's practically no difference between a IPS and a TN panel.

Yeah, thanks for letting me know, but not everyone in the world has the time!

    IPS a fuss?

My first preference is gaming, because I'm a gamer, but as no games can help me to understand/test the colour reproduction of a monitor, next preference will be photo editing.

    IPS a fuss?

It was a RAW which I processed later via Lightroom. I don't believe JPEG processing of any camera, doesn't matter how expensive it is. What you are saying is actually very wrong, that a random pic on internet is same as a pic taken from a rather decent camera, especially when I have the...
