    Just use ThrottleStop. Heck, I am a silent freak and I use my fans at low RPM, and even on my H67 board, if CPU goes past 65 degrees Celsius, it throttles. With ThrottleStop I gain another benefit on my board. I can also run the CPU at 3,4GHz, so all time TurboMode (i5 2500 is 3.3 default)...

    On my Asrock H67M-ITX/HT i can control it. Either from bios or windows. From bios it's the chasis fan and i can choose "levels" from 1 to 10, and it changes the rpm.     So I tried to flip the 180mm AP fan so it would work as exhaust, thinking that the positive pressure thingie is bullcrap. Well, it was total failure, temps raised quite a bit. Any way to exhaust the hot air from this case?

    Ok, so I just ordered one LanBox Blackheart at 115 euros. Problem is that I'm paying 58 euros for shipping, even tho I'm in Europe (damn 3rd world countries).     I don't like it. Bad design in all LianLi small cases tbh. They are big in terms of volume and have poor PSU placement. PSU either sucks hot air from above CPU or GPU. I am interested in something cube-like. V354 is rather tower-ish. I'd rather buy Fractal Design Define Mini instead of it.

    Bump. Same thing happens on i5 2500k. Only fix i found is ThrotttleStop and make it start minimized with windows. Bios version 1.3. Everything disabled or manual set in bios, it still throttles. The throttling happens at over 65 degrees celcius (maybe OP had some bad software that reports it)...

    If you want overclocking and general future proof go option 2. Both Zotac and Asrock Z68 boards are terrible overclockers. Not to mention that LGA2011 won't have mITX, unless some very crazy poor featured board that could squeeze 4 horizontal SODIMM banks.
