Nope, not the case at all. I work for a company that makes the raw fiberglass that's then shipped to a paper line on the opposite side of the country to be made into battery separator material which is used in AGM batteries, which are the kind of batteries used in all the new hybrid vehicles...
So, I made the mistake of buying a ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 from Newegg with a i7 3770K without realizing that the motherboard doesn't support Ivy Bridge processors without a bios update. I absolutely need this system to be up and running by next weekend, due to this system running my home...
Already have a 40 gig SSD that windows 7 is installed on. I'm working on consolidating all my files to one of my hard drives and putting them in a RAID-1 configuration for faster read times, and to have a redundant backup.
I'm gonna pick up a couple 120mm fans and try my hand at overclocking...
Long time since I last posted here, but I have a graphics card question.
I currently have an EVGA GeForce GTX 275 1792MB in my system, and would really like to see improved framerates in WoW (especially with Cataclysm coming up), Just Cause 2, Dead Rising 2, and Arcania : Gothic 4.
Here...
My wife and I are newlyweds, and would be described as your average techno-yuppies. I'm 24, she is 22. We have been married for almost 6 months, lived together for almost a year now, and before we were married, we dated for the good part of 7 years. We have spent many a Christmas together, but...
What do you mean by not enough "power"?
I will be using this at work where I will be plugging it in, if thats what you mean. If you are talking performance wise, I thought the memory on a graphics card was dedicated to storing texture maps and what not, so therefore it would be using all...
I've been reading some people have the GeForce Go 7600 512mb, and it shares 256mb of memory from the RAM. Now, on the HP website where I ordered it, it says nothing about sharing system memory with the graphics card.
They do make GeForce Go 7600s with 512mb of RAM on the board, right?
Well, I just finally got $1250 in financing from HP, so I decided to buy a gaming laptop from them. I ended up spending $1150 on the Pavillion dv9000t. Here are the stats :
1.60Ghz Intel Core Duo 2
1 Gig RAM
80 GB Hard Drive
512mb nVidia GeForce Go 7600
DVD/CD Burner combo drive
I'm...
Well, I'm in dire need of a Java/Flash based MMO that runs in your browser to play during my down time at work.
I would play runescape, but I utterly hate the interface and the graphics. Is there anything similiar out there? Maybe a diablo-esque clone?
I'm NOT looking for browser based...
Well, I've been out of the processor info loop for quite some time now, making the deciding factors on my new laptop that much harder.
Right now, I'm looking at the HP Pavillion dv8000 series, but I might go with the dv9000z. Now, before someone tells me to look elsewhere, I am going to buy...
This is my current computer specs :
Athlon64 3200+
1.5GB PC3200
MSI Mobo
Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB
So, the upgrade I'm thinking of getting for this system, due to the lack of PCI-Express and money is the Radeon X800GT 256MB.
The new card is only $160 on newegg, and I really want a...
