Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Silent is a strong word. The amount of sound that a keyboard makes during use depends on more than the switch. The material of the keys, the plate, any padding, the switch, and the typist all come in to effect. In general though, linear switches tend to be a little quieter than tactile or...
I have used the magicforce, it is one of my backups. It is an excellent board, especially for the price. The cable plug position is a little annoying, it is routed through a channel to the mid area of the underside of the board.
I have had my eye on the Gramr, it is a very cheap entry to the...
My girlfriend has a B350m Mortar in her Ryzen machine, and it was awesome to work with, and very well priced. She runs it often and hard, and has had no issues with it at all.
Supposedly in certain resource hogging games RAM can make more of a difference, so maybe more CPU centric games in general. You are right though, it looks like the difference between 3000 and 4000 is not a whole lot, and rarely more than 8 FPS or so.
Hmm, I had not thought about my RAM being a bottleneck. I don't think it has been an issue at 1440p, outside of games like PUBG, but you are right, I can see that being a problem at 2160p. I may have to bite the overpriced RAM bullet at some point in the not too distant future!
You make some very compelling points! I have only had my topre board for about a year now, so I am not sure about the longevity. If it starts to deteriorate to soon I will definitely jump ship. For gaming, I tend to prefer my MX Red board, as I can lean toggle much smoother without the bump. For...
Honestly, I tend to play competitive shooters, so all the settings are not necessary. At 1440p with settings turned down to best reaction speeds, my Titan Xp can keep R6 at 165Hz, but it dips a little too often for my taste. If the new cards can do that at 4k I will be interested. I do not mean...
Well, it is a little out of left field, but the Havit Ergo is huge. To be clear, you are gaming on your mice these days? If so, this would likely be kinda bad.
