i flushed all my blocks with vinegar+water then just water and im running fine. I think vinegar carries a certain acidity that is less than harmful but more than effective.
IMHO, ram sinks hurt heat dissipation more than help. strip the sinks and through a fan over the top. works wonders.
Hope your EK stuff comes through. I just dealt with EK and from eastern europe to illinois took 10 days. my order was shipped with 6 hours and everything has been smooth since.
possibly flip your cpu block around so the tubing seems to "flow" better from top to bottom. Id also look to move the T around a bit i think that causes a cluttered look.
what additives are you using? pentosin?
does your closet have decent airflow?

Seriously, if the machine isnt going to be cranking 100% 24/7 i wouldnt see any issues. However i would recommend, if the closet has a door, to pop it...
its personal preference, some use 1/4" tubing some use 3/8" some 7/16" while others 1/2". none have necessarily been proven to cool better than the others as there as more factors than just tube size that factor in, like blocks used, pumps, rads, and others.
