    Scsi probs :( Plz help

    Yes as I stated the cable has a active terminator at its end and I have checked the scsi bios of the PIII board to confirm that the controller is terminated. And yes the scsi is enabled on the board, its *does* see the 9gb fujitsu hdd but not the ibms. Any other thoughts? :(

    hard drive problem?

    Have you checked the molex connectors going to the drives? After a while they "wear out" and do not make good contact. If it is just bend them a bit smaller with a thin flat screwdriver. If its not its time to rip out your cd-rw/dvdrw/tape drive/spare hdd. :(
