    turns out....Just needed to take the battery out for 10 min and unplug the PSU from the mobo in order to fully clear the cmos. no idea why that gave me back video (onboard and geforce). 5-10 seconds of the CMOS jumper and battery didn't work before. so weird.

    this is my board: P8Z68V PRO it's in AHCI mode. Marvell 6gbps is not as fast as Intel 3gbps? ninjaedit: this shows that there isn't much difference between the Marvell and Intel controllers, at least on my board.

    If someone could confirm if a 6x1 monitor setup is possible, it would be greatly appreciated. that's been the main hangup. I don't think Eyefinity supports a 6x1 setup. I really hope I'm wrong.
