Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hey HOOf,
I posted on OCZ's forum and a mod got back to me in literally minutes saying they'd RMA it and gave me a code to bypass trouble shooting...I asked what was wrong with this line of PSUs and didn't get an answer...my retailer is going to see if they can get a credit and I think I will...
I realise this is an old thread but I was wondering if anybody has been having issues with these units? I bought one based on the [H] review and it ran fine for ~2-3 months then I came home and the red LED on the back was on and it wouldn't power up. Jumping green and black didn't work, mobo is...
Heh, I did mention a clean install in my post :D tearing out my hair atm, looks like an RMA...does it on 8.11 and 8.12...also crashes Outlook with a "stuck in an infinitle loop" BSOD
Hey Folks,
Been having similar issues to some of you in this thread...I run dual monitors 1900 on main, 1024 on secondary. Have Aero turned on and get random BSODs with "driver stuck in an infinate loop" will try and de-activate Aero for kicks. I am also having another problem that has been...
Is it me or does anybody else doubt the effectiveness of the fins on this design?
Seems to me that the fans should be blowing air over the fins to do any good...seems impossible the way the fans are sitting between the fins and all...
That and the fact that the internal heatsinks don't seem...
Has anyone tried to run one or two of these on a 32bit OS ? From what I understan, XP for sure and maybe Vista 32bit reserve memory addresses for videocard memory...too much video memory can cause memory issues such as system RAM not being used like the 3gb limit in XP...
Just curious...
That probably wouldn't work, acrylic leaves a matte finish after cutting or drilling...getting the gloss finish back is beyond my skills...that and I don't have a drill press so lining up that many holes wouldn't be doable :)
Hmmm good idea Response, problem is they're raised about 1/3 of an inch above the surface...I can't just slap a cut-out into the cover...an acrylic cover would have to be hollowed out or dome-shaped. Don't think it would be possible to fabricate something that would look clean. Anyone have any...
LOL at home, usually a tech demo, my PC connects to it, it connects to my broadband router just to prove it works...once a month though, it serves as network backbone for LAN parties...I'm lazy and couldn't bear carrying an extra box :D
Thanks for the compliment ! I like it too but it wans't a choice...any other placement wouldn't have fit :) The indicators are on a PCB about an inch high and there's a 20 pin ribbon cable connected to it. the patch panels are about an inch and a half wide sans-wires...no other configuration...
Hi All !
You may or may not remember my Switchmod from a few years back...here's what it looked like:

The email address in that link isn't valid anymore btw :)
My Antech case was getting a bit dusty...
I've painted many drive face plates to co with different cases and it works well. I suggest primer for plastics before painting to avoid the "fuzzy" issue mentioned earlier...thin even coats are the key...if you want to paint the whole drive I REALLY suggest you disassemble the drive first...
