But it's still too ridiculous the way they have it now. They've gimped the "team" role that the assault holds way too much. Now, the only thing you're good for pretty much is healing yourself, and that doesn't promote teamwork. BF3 was too much on the revive goodness, but BF4 beta was too...
An ACOG on that thing? That gun is pretty useless an inch past medium range, so I don't see why you'd put such a large scope on it. You get up close and personal with that thing. The time-to-kill on that weapon is ridiculous because of it's fire rate.
So it seems like most of you guys are getting playable performance in the beta. It's way to stuttery for me. Unplayable! Tried every suggested fix except upgrading to Windows 8, and that's not happening any time soon.
I completely agree about them not having enough to show. They state that it's next gen, but any actual "gameplay" they are showing off is like some old school web-browser flash game. I could see them getting a ton of support if they showed off some rough level ideas or something more...
Wow, i've always thought that Ecco was some silly, girly dolphin game. Didn't realize it went into crazy alien shit like that.
One of the things i'm always looking forward to with next-gen tech is undersea exploration type games done well. I don't really think anyone has done much to create a...
I might possibly have slightly larger ears than average. Don't know. All I know is i've owned several headphones in my day, and Siberia's were one of the more uncomfortable ones. Up till now, ATH-M50's are the most comfortable i've had and I use those for very long periods while recording music.
This. Bought a pair a few years ago, and the discomfort on my ears made me regret my purchase after the first week. They sounded decent, but i'm done with "over-the-ears" headphones for gaming/PC use. In-ears all the way.
So, you bring hacking into the conversation to try to make some kind of valid point. Hackers ruin the game for everybody, no matter WHAT game you play, whether the hack is possible because of client-side or server-side hit detection. And if you were getting killed 50% of the time behind walls...
I always laugh when people make this comment, like it's something that proves how people don't know what a good game is anymore.
It's silly, juvenile type mentality. People want games to look nice. The PC gaming scene for the most part has always been about pushing for the maximum graphic...
Considering NES/SNES games cost about $50-$60 when they first came out (if i'm remembering correctly), I really can't complain. If anything, videogames got a lot cheaper for a while there, and now, they are just back to where they used to be... but we are getting a WHOLE LOT MORE whether you...
And how often does dying behind cover actually happen? A couple of times every game you play? If you're running to cover last minute every time after a firefight, chances are you were going to die before you even reached it in the first place, even if there was what you consider "perfect hit...
Sure, there are those reasons people play it. But those are not the only reasons, like you make it out to be. The map, as already stated, can be very fun and it's laid out for a ton of action.
And to compare this to Nuketown is quite absurd. I know what you're getting at, but it's still a bad...
