Hey folks,
I am on the market for a 4Gigs of memory for my new rig(ip35 pro, q6600). I got something around $200-$250 to spend.
Tried OCZ Reaper and had no luck with it(got bad sticks)...
I am not really planning on major OC, maybe a small speed boost, nothing crucial :)

Hello All,
I've been having an issue with OCZ Reaper memory on my IP35 Pro MB... Got recommendation to set NB voltage to 1.4v, couldn't figure which parameter in uGuru voltage settings responsible for it...
Can some one tell me what do I change to set this voltage to a desired value...
I have about $250 - $300 to spent on widescreen monitor for a home office use(Office applications, Internet, occasional movie, no games).
Any recommendations for a good quality monitor for that amount of money?
I own Samsung 244T for a good amount of time(about a year) and I have been very happy with it. However, recently I started getting kind of waves on the grey background. These waves seemed to be almost invisible or absent on anyother bg however...
Any ides why this could be happening? Crappy...
Putting my new shiny rig together I stumbled upon the question - how do I properly setup disk array. I got 3 Seagate drives, 750Gb each.
Would it be better to setup them up as software RAID5? Or someother raid?
What's the difference in perfomance between standalone HDD and RAID5 in terms of...
I totally agree about Antec P180. I own a silver version, and so far this is the best case I ever saw(and I've seen a lot of cases). Quality metal, perfect sound proofing, good dust proofing as well.
I don't really know how will it play with water cooling, though.
Hi,
Could some one share their knowledge and recommend a good UPS for:
1. One standalone file/LDAP/mail server that should operate 24/7(runs on 430W PSU)?
2. Two workstations with 4 monitors, each runs on 520W PSU?
Thanks a lot!
Hi All,
I am building a small mail/file/office-server. Here the config that I got:
ASUS M2N
Opteron 1210
2x512MB DDR2
Video - the simplest I was able to get from our vendor - GeForce 7200GS(maybe too much for it, but I was limited in the choice :(
HDD Seagete 7200.10 500Gb SATA x 3...
No overclocking for sure.
And I have no idea what is mid-level GPU now... some thing simple and around $100 :)
Though it'll be lovely to have something that will allow to put more load on it in the future...
How would you recommend to keep q6600 cool and running at factory settings. No need to overclock, but reliability is something most important to me instead, since system runs almost 24/7
