    One of the drives is set on what it was when i bought it (first one) and the new one is set for slave and yea both showed up.

    Well, the computer has been working with the new drive in there, but the drive wasnt working which is why i changed the boot device to hd 1 or whatever and then the problems started... I am running xp pro 2 wd 40gb hds, 712 mb crucial pc2700 ram, amd 2400+, epox mobo, geforce 4 ti4200 64mb...

    The other day i tried starting my computer and it went to a screen where it asked me if i wanted to boot in safe mode and all that and whatever i choose it goes to the blue screen of death and it says "unmountable boot drive" *** does that mean???? please help!!!!I have no clue what i did but...
