    I'm sorry if i forgot to mention, the board is a A7V8X-MX. My NEW (and not used at the current time) board is the a7n8x. Any confusion is my fault.

    Great advice man, but sadly it didn't work. I have a VIA KT400 based Motherboard and the GART option is not there. I did try a fresh re-install of its drivers, but no luck. The system runs fine going through the vid card when theres no drivers on it (drivers wiped), but it has crippled graphics...

    I KNOW that that is not the problem, for I use the mother of all VGA heatsinks. Wonder in its sheer grandiose Wonder I say! Yeah i used to have heat problems witht he stock heatsink, the new one keeps it nice and chilly.
