Current specs:
Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe
i5-3570K
Samsung 840 250gb
2TB WD Black
Asus GTX660
ST45SF-G v2 (450w)
Am upgrading the 660 to a Sapphire Nitro Radeon R9 390 which in the specs I've found shows it should be 275 watts TDP.
Should I be fine or will I need to upgrade my PSU as well?
Thanks.
Will do.
Hoping they don't try to reject the RMA due to the plastic piece on the end of DIMM 1B which had a corner broken off it when I received the board. *The end that doesn't move to hold RAM in.*
After having to chat with 2 different people (3 different times as they kept booting...
I have an Asus p8z77-i deluxe I need to RMA due to it not POSTing with RAM installed in the second DIMM slot. Hoping I don't have any of these issues doing this.
I've tried everything, I even took RAM (different brands/size/speed than what I bought for this build) from two other computers and tried them in this MB. DIMM B1 will not recognize any RAM and the board will not post if there's a stick in it.

going to try and upgrade bios and see if that fixes it. doubt it will...

Unfortunately clearing the CMOS didn't work. :(
I'll reseat the RAM if not sometime by this weekend, then I'll def. do it when I get the PP05-E cables in and have to pull the build apart to replace them.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
So got mine all put together and it won't POST. :(
MB is Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe and RAM is Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (VLP @ 1.35V). Anyone running this mix have any issues getting it to POST?

As Amazon is currently out of stock, does anywhere else I can get SilverstoneTek PP05-E cables that doesn't charge $12+ in shipping?

^ This was the same issue I had as well. I also took two screws out of an older computer my brother is using as a network file/media server and tried them, same issue.
Still find it strange that if those two screws weren't supposed to be used that they didn't put four loose screws in with the...
