Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Your cpu is doing all of the work at 1024x768. Increasing your resolution puts more strain on your gpu and relieves some of the load from your cpu.P4 are terrible for gaming. I suggest your start saving for a new pc.
the only thing that i can think of that would cause that is a weak psu. What is your psu? I have the same p35 board and a 8800gt and havent had any rebooting issues you are describing. Check your bios settings and set pci express frequency to 100 and see if that helps.
Sounds like you have bad video memory. I had that problem with my xfx version when they were first released. If you bought one around that time frame chances are you may have got a bad one. If you go to the evga forums you'll see that you are no the only one suffering with this problem. I would...
Its a driver issue. i remember I had that problem. Are you using the 169.21 whql driver. Make sure you set your settings to application controlled and not forcing it in the control panel. That should resolve it.
Its that cpu yours thats bottlenecking your 8800gt. Plus 3dmark6 really needs a good cpu to get a decent score. Upgrade your cpu to core duo and you will get better results.
I cant even get the memory or core to overclock by 25mhz without getting a stupid vpu recover message.Ive tried everything i could think of. I used rivatuner to set the fan speeds and load temps get into the mid 60s. Overdrive sucks. I run the auto tune utility and it recommends like 875 on the...
It could also be driver related. I can oc to 700/1000 and play cod4 and world in conflict for hours. I can even run ati tool and 3dmark06 with no hiccups. Yet when i play less graphically demanding game like source based games it just goes red all over my screen. Some say the card is no volted...
It is bad memory like that one guy said. I got an xfx 8800gt that was clocked at 640mhz core and 1900mhz on the first week of release and the very first game i tried was half life 2 lost coast and immediately it crashed. I lowered it to 1800mhz on the memory and it fixed the issue. Its not a...
