Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Absolutely agreed on everything except the later being "more fun". I think they are of different mindsets of entertainment; fighting/shooting/racing and story-based games, with the occassional exception. I would call them both equally enjoyable, just for different people/times depending on...
:p
It's all good, I respect those of us whom either were not/are not emo or have matured past the point of childhood and even young-adult tendancies. :D
I was a young-in at the time myself (7th or 8th grade) and while that sentence may have been overdramatic, I think it proves a fair...
I agree with the consensus. While I enjoy the pick-up-and-play games (racing, UT, fighting games, etc) as well as the next guy, my favorites are games that engross me with their story; FFVII, PE's, SoM,GoW,etc...Even if the graphics play second fiddle. This is not always the case though, as...
Right, and they're actually available which is very cool, even if it is ~MSRP. This only makes a better case for finding one on launch day...and for once, you might actually be able to find one under msrp at launch. :)
Lowest prices I saw on froogle all well below MSRP (all out of stock or...
Why not just answer the guy?
Supposedly, we're looking at an imminant launch. Probably within the next month. DFI and MSI have already shown off completed boards using the newer nb and the ULI southbridge, so it should be pretty soon.
If someone was able to edit the voltages via bios (like Sapphire did with it's XT bios), it would be possible to set clocks higher, if not to XT core speeds at default. Memory is a different story, as the XT uses 1.2ns (1600mhz) and the XL 1.4ns (1400mhz). More likely than not, 1600mhz would...
Very cool. GL bro.
Altough All-star shop isn't the best example, It's nice to see some resellers not all jacking up the prices.
From what i've seen it looks like ATi is selling them for $450, (x1900[XL]AIW) ~$500 (XT) and $600 (XTX) respectively to the distributors, because prices are as...
ATi placed their last order of R520 cores to the fab in December.
It takes the fabs (TSMC or UMC) ~3 months to fill an order from ATi or Nvidia, and from there it takes time to go through the motions. The chips have to be produced, cards constructed, sent to AIB's, packaged, and sold on...
Ok, it's like this:
AIW X1900's will be ~$475. This is shown here, at NCIX's site, which has them for $552 CAD, which is approx $475 USD. The X1900xt's in comparison are the CAD equivilent to $550 USD, which is the correct pricing, so that is how much they will cost. They have availability...
