i downloaded k codec (full version) and another windows 7 codec the problem still exists, however i am able to run it on a windows xp virtual machine.
i am running a radeon 3650 w/catalyst drivers and that may be causing the issue.
It was working before but now it doesn't want to boot after I reinstalled Windows 7 on my laptop.
When I click on the icon through the start menu (i'm running in compatibility mode + run as admin) it goes to a black screen but I can hear the background noise and I even hear mouseover events...

I'm trying to hook up this TV to utilize 240Hz w/max resolution in 1080p mode
Problems:
1) Windows display settings only display ranges from ~20-60Hz and not 120/240Hz.
2) When selecting ~20Hz mode...
Wikipedia states that a SAS controller can communicate with a SATA drive but not vice versa.
Does anyone have empirical data to validate or invalidate this statement?

Today's consumer chips are capable of maybe a ~36-bit address bus bandwidth which means that it is capable of addressing 64GB of memory however, from what I read, 32 bit processors limit the user to 4GB of RAM.

I currently have a Lenovo T500 laptop w/4GB of RAM running VMWare Player, however I see that only 2.99GB of RAM is used. I'm wondering if VMWare player, with 512MB of RAM allocated to a virtual machine, can and will use my unused RAM.
