I would never use shitlocker, slow software encryption. Just buy a Samsung SSD and mobo that supports ATA password. The drive is already encrypted on the fly with no speed decrease and if you set a password for it no one is getting your data unlike bitlocker. I only use this for laptop as I...

They are hooked up to a nice 32" LG 1080p LCD TV/monitor, and the 360 looks like crap, pc looks great. Xbox 360 runs the games at 30fps and 720p then upscales them to 1080p, so NOT 1080p, fake, and why it looks blocky.

I don't know what you guys are smoking, but I have a gaming pc and xbox 360 hooked up to the same 1080p monitor. I can play the exact same game and the PC version looks beautifull and fluid. The 360 version looks like friggin minecraft lego jagged low-res crap.

Fair enough, but by Christmas you will probably be able to purchase a PS4 for $500 or a decent gaming pc for about that. The only difference from the $500-$600 pcs you listed and a good gaming computer is the graphics card. By Christmas I am sure you could get a more powerful graphics card...

What don't you comprehend? We are not comparing MOST computers (in general), we are comparing MOST computers (for gaming) to a console PS4 (for gaming). And MOST gaming PCs will be faster than the PS4. Most 2 year old PCs in thrid world countries used for word processing and internet will...

Still waiting on any takers for my Paypal bet..... I thought so.

Another way to look at this. The PS4 will be similar in size and power (cpu/gpu wise and Wattage wise) as the 17" gaming laptops that will be out at the same time (around Holidays) made by Alienware or Cyberpower, using intel quad cores and Nvidia graphics. That is a fair and valid point, the...

Anyone who believes the PS4 will be faster than my computer at 1080p gaming, I have a deal for you. 1) PM me and I will give you my Paypal address where you can send me $100 to $1000 dollars. If the PS4 is faster at 1080p games than my computer when it is released, I will Paypal you...

I have an SSD in my gaming computer, it boots faster than my Xbox 360. Next PC complaint?

Yes, I consider a GTX 470 or 570 level power last gen, but by the time PS4 is out, even the 680 will be last gen. Nvidia will have a newer faster card by then, oh wait, they kind of do, the Titan. In any case both Nvidia and AMD will have a new card out around the same time or a few months...

Everyone on this forum knows that the statement is illogical and false. The main bottleneck in 1080p gaming is the video card. The PS4 and Xbox 720 will have LAST GEN video cards in them. They can not put a current video card such as a Nvidia GtX 680 or Radeon 7990 in them due to size and...

I have programmed video games in the past, and just designing and making simple sprites is art. What I can not fathom is how someone takes a picture with a camera and calls that art? Taking a picture of the ocean is not art, painting or drawing it is.

Intel needs to be competitive in the phone and tablet market. The phone and tablet market uses soldered soc chips since it is more power efficient and going into the same device. Samsung wants the chip on the phone's "motherboard". THIS WILL NOT EFFECT HIGH END DESKTOP CPUs. Asus will still...
