Some contractors were hired to do all the cabling and mounting, i just took the photo ;) i'm a PhD student in materials engineering, i just like computers and networking :)

Took some photos of network rack at my workplace ( i'm not an IT guy, computers and networking are just my hobby ). the cables go up into the ceiling and into wall plugs in over 30 rooms But the question is, does it work despite the poor cable management? Yes, it does.

Maybe, i don't know really, no friends in the US. However, at my parents house there is a 100/100 line for 16$ per month... and they only use it once-twice a month to pay bills or read emails ( 60+ years old ). BTW - You have a lot of cheap servers/rack enclosures etc. In Poland a used one (...
