There's no killer app and no compelling reason for most to buy. Almost nobody wants to spent $800+ and the hardware to support it just to play a handful of indie games.

That makes no sense considering the other major game developers all manage to have simultaneous PC releases (if they have them at all) and Rockstar's history of delaying or not providing a PC port at all. It really seems at if Rockstar is just biased against PCs.

E3 is not for consumer. It's a trade show. The booth babes are not there to sell games to you, they're to sell to distributors, many of whom probably don't even care about the games themselves. To put it another way: What you see at your local store is influenced by eye candy at the booth...

I disagree. Being an older gamer, I wasn't playing over the internet during my formative years. My friends and I never used such language when playing games in the same room as each other, even if there were no parents around. When a new kid starts playing online, he doesn't start already...
