Most likely the AMP setting is indeed the culprit in this case (menu -> Picture -> Picture Options -> 100Hz Motion Plus on my Samsung 40A866).

Thats bullcrap to be honest, the fact that your distinct setup has a problem working with it or it is to do with your personal inabilities doesn't make it bad. I run F10 with my E6400 (450x8) and everything is perfect, hence I'd absolutely recommend upgrading to it.
