    buzzing when switching input / resolution

    I just got a new hannspree hf257 and it looks fine to me except that whenever the input changes, for example from waking up or changing resolution, there is a pretty audible buzzing noise. It's not there after the image comes on screen. Should I be worried about this? Thanks

    fix crt focus?

    I've got an old mitsubishi diamond pro 19" that's starting to lose focus. Everything is getting blurry / fuzzy. Is there any way to correct this or is it finally time to ditch it? Thanks

    core 2 duo e4700 vs athlon II x2 240?

    Actually a lot more turns out...i figure a g41 775 mobo will be ~$50-$60 while the athlon / 785g mobo will be ~$120 together. The amd will be a much better mobo, mainly graphics / video capability i guess. Not counting money, which cpu is the better performer?

    Two X5550s, need a motherboard - suggestion please

    I ran prime95 to load all cores and i see them fluctuating between 2.54 and 2.4, this is 2 e5530s. Is this what you're describing?

    Hmm I'm putting together a x8dal-i this saturday with 2 e5530s. I'll report if I encounter the same issues. Hopefully I don't need to RMA in the future if this is a problem.
