    i have since changed the clock speed to 783/1566/1296. i used riva tuner to OC and that doesn't show the 2:1 shader:core, and i used precision later to correct that. its called look at my vantage gpu score, its almost 12k... and its validated. http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/epc7d/...

    1) turn off physx ffs (you can't upload scores to vantage with ppu enabled and its actually showing cpu+gpu score) 2) 1.5 V for q6600 = the cpu probably don't like you too much

    Well my EVGA 7900GS went up in smoke.

    QFT i'd go with xfx or evga cause their warranty covers mods on the gpu as long as you don't mess up and physically damage the card. BFG, a gamer's brand, won't cover OCing... wtf?

    gpu score = average cpu score = artificially inflated by physX turn off PPU in the options page on the bottom right my q6600 (g0 crap overclocker) gets around 11k cpu

    i got the 260 gtx 216 and OCed the shit out of it (785/1566/1296) and it beats stock 280 gtx in vantage by quite a bit so the 260 is a good deal
