Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Get the Dragon Knight Saga version. It combines the original + expansion and includes graphics updates and rebalanced stuff.
+1 for this game. I got it during the Steam sale too. I'm level 14 now and having a blast.
Hey, thanks for the Co-Optimus list! That's exactly the kind of thing I was looking for.
We've played our share of WoW, LotRO, the Diablos, the Total Wars, Titan Quest, and Civ 4 & 5. We've beaten the Portal 2 single-player campaign together, so we might give the co-op a whirl. Thanks for...
My wedding anniversary is fast approaching and I want to spend the day playing pc games with my hubby. I just built him a new computer, so he can run all the latest, as can I. We were going to play Dungeon Siege 3, but I hear they effed up the multiplayer something awful, so we need a new...
That is exactly what I was referring to. It wasn't a problem with the Steam versions of those games because Steam doesn't encrypt .exe's.
Anyway, just got my key from D2D, plugged it into Steam, and all is well. Now if only the game would download faster....
...Really? The D2D versions of Fallout 3 and Oblivion were crippled when it came to mods because you couldn't install a script extender on them, but if all D2D is doing with New Vegas is giving me a Steam key, it sounds like it won't be a problem in this case.
Thanks for the info!
I've enjoyed the heck out of LoTRO for the last 3+ years. Great community, interesting quest lines (I actually am compelled to read the quest text) and they seem to keep the classes somewhat balanced... not that it matters that much, since PvP isn't a major focus of the game. (It's there if...
Don't buy it on D2D if you ever want to get into mods. I'm pretty sure that, like the D2D versions of Fallout 3 and Oblivion, you can't alter the .ini file, which means you can't install any kind of Script Extender, which means you can't use any of the more complex mods. It's part of how D2D...
As long as they release the Construction Set, it's all good. Bethesda is best at making game worlds. Their players are best at making games out of them.
Heavily-modded Oblivion is the best RPG of all time. Heavily-modded Morrowind was pretty good, but the tools at the time for managing mods...
I use a mod package called TCOM. It's pretty comprehensive, although it was released in April so some of the mods have newer versions available now. Search for a torrent. It's originally from the Somethingawful forums.
Here is a link to the documentation...
I too got in on the Oblivion Steam sale. I spent last weekend researching mods and settled on something called TCOM.

I started with a clean install, followed the instructions carefully, and the game runs pretty...
You heard wrong about Gothic 2. Great game. Go play it now.
Gothic 3 was a complete mess when it was released, but the community has done a great job patching it up. It's now a decent open-world RPG. The story is nowhere near as strong as the first 2 Gothics, but it's certainly better...
I've played all of them (almost done with 13 right now.) My favorites are 6, 4, 7, 12, and 9. 8 was the only one I couldn't bring myself to finish. The combat was just too tedious.
12 is the only one of those that's a PS2 game (natively, at least). IMHO if you're looking for a great PS2...
The 360 Star Ocean is the worst of the Star Ocean games. I mean, it's okay if you wanna grind out some levels and do some quests, but it's nothing special. The story is mediocre and the voice acting is terrible. That said, I did actually finish it, mostly because it was a Star Ocean game, so...
