Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hello,
I'm putting together an i7 based system including the following:
core i7 920 processor, 6 gigs of PC1600 OCZ Gold RAM, Asus P6T Deluxe mobo, and my Samsung 20-inch monitor which runs at 1680 x 1050
I'd like a graphics card that will run Crysis, GTA 4, etc. decently but i don't want to...
have you tried vista's default ac97 drivers? I tried realteks drivers and the default ones. my soundcard worked much better with the default driver. the realtek ones still seem very buggy
actually if you're ever in the NY area you can check out Red Rose Audio (levinson's latest venture) where you can demo some systems with Mark Levinson himself (at least you could the last time i went there)
ive got the benchmark, and it sounds fantastic. you most definitely can bypass the volume pot, and it has a pretty decent headphone amp built in. benchmark also has great customer service, i had a problem with the dac when i first received it and i ended up speaking to the guy that designed it...
it wont ruin the speaker (that is if you can put it back again)
try your speakers with and without the grills and see which sounds better
or tell us which speakers you have more info
Well im assuming the question was about computer speakers. If you want to head down that road we can talk about the wilson watt puppy+watchdog system for 50 grand. But if we're talking about computer speakers i'd have to say the now discontinued monsoon planar speakers
