I have the bundled software called Turbo V but not sure if anyone can give me pointers on using this OCing software. Should I use this or just go to the BIOS? If I do the bios, I'm not sure where I should start. Any help or tutorial would be great...

Okay, it seems that all is okay with my third attempt to OC. I updated my BIOS with the latest version to F12. So my OC seems to be adequate. Here's what I've done:
I've pushed my processor from 1.86 to 2.8GHz. It's been running for a couple of weeks now. The temps have been very good no...
Okay, okay, okay... My I kindly have your gloves? Thank you.
"Smack, smack, smack"... across my face.
I feel much better now. I'm okay. I beg your pardons...
Heading to posting #1.
For my version 3.3 board (see my signature), I would like give the overclocking a shot again. Can someone recommend where I should start? I'm already familiar with the BIOS but cant remember which elements to tweak...

I think I'm just going to wait for the processors to come down in price and buy one that's faster. Flight Sim X runs much better with my E6320, stock speeds anyway.
Also noticed that Nero 7.8 installed successfully when I returned the BIOS to its default state. So, I can wait.
I've installed the EAsyTune 5 utility. Seems good so far. Two things I've discovered thus far:
1. Under the Hardware Monitor section of the utility, there's one alert triangle showing up in the Fan Section for the CPU. I though ckicking on it would tell me something. It doesnt. So, I'm not...
Well, apparently it sounded because there's no fan connected to the System Fan connector on the board. And perhaps the board "thinks" that the fan has failed since nothing's connected. So I had a fan and connected it to the System connector - alert has stopped. BTW, where do I get that easytune...
You think a malfunction is occuring? All I do is make all the settings for BASELINE and the alert sounds. CPU temps are very cool. In my first few attempts to overclocking, it would sound in a short beep but now since I added the second HDD drive maybe, it sounds continuously...
not sure what...
I overclocked the system, making minor adjustments as I went; each time watching the temperature very carefully without it ever going over 37C. The processor is a 1.86GHz and I pushed it little by little to 2.32; then 2.8, Vista froze afterwhich I turned if off and noticed that the BIOS had...
