Yes, he is only 12. He's currently using my old mobile athlon 2500+ OCed and ati 9800 lol. But it's struggling these days, and thus the upgrade. I like Bman's suggestion. I'm think I'm gonna go that route. Thanks!

Thanks for help. The reason why I was looking at the z68/i5s is because I figured he will eventually become an "enthusiast" and maybe one day buy faster procs, etc. 364 though above seems like a really good price. That allows me to buy him a better LCD.

I don't want to sound lazy, but basically I'm building a computer for my little brother, and need a good mobo/proc/gpu combo. I can find the ram/psu/harddrive/optical/case/lcd myself. The computer will be used for whatever a 12yo kid (nerd) does, including gaming. He's not a hardcore...
