There is no problem at all. The Corsair HX650 is an amazing PSU which provides power enough and has all the connectors that you will need for running two GTX460 in SLI. I would keep it.
Are you sure about that?. In the PCP&C website is written that the Silencer 750 Quad has 5 years warranty, so you should be able to do a RMA.

The CORSAIR HX520 is not the proper PSU for running two GTX460 in SLI. It's recommended a 600W PSU with four PCIe connectors. However, since the unit from Corsair it's a quality one and the consumption of the graphic cards at full load is 300W (more or less), if you already have the HX520 you...
Yes, the AX850 is a quiet PSU. It is cooled by a high quality 120mm fan from Sanyo Denki ( San Ace 120 9S1212F404) using a temperature controller that limits the speed of the fan. Up to a load of 20%, the PSU works in fanless mode. From 21 to 50%, the fan spins slowly. From 51% load, the fan...
You can buy the PSU here, in Spain.
PC componentes, for example, can send products to Portugal without any problem.
Here you have some good options:
XFX XXX Edition 650W (modular and made by Seasonic)...70 + (7,83 shipping)(nowadays it is not in stock)...
A quality 650W can handle even the most powerful graphic card you can get on the market nowadays.
The best of those three PSUs is the Corsair TX650 without any doubt.

Keep in mind that nowadays you can find two different...
It depends on the model. Some are better than others.
Anyway, here you have some qualified reviews of the current OCZ's PSUs. You don't have to believe what I say (or all those who say that OCZ is crap). You can draw your own conclusions.

You wrote that the unit has eight 6-PCI-E connectors and four* 8-pin PCIe connectors.
However, the Silverstone ST1550 actually has "only" eight PCIe connectors: four 6-pin + four (6+2)-pin PCIe conectors.
You could get 12 6-pin PCIe connectors thru four Dual 6-pin PCIe-to-single (6+2)-pin...
Here you have some good options:

OCZ Fatal1ty OCZ550FTY 550W... (modular and made by Sirtec)... 47$ after MIR...
I don't want to know why, but you have a serious problem with OCZ...
I was not recommending a flawed product when I recommended the OCZ ModXstream 600W (Sirtec).
I just hope that everyone who has read your comments has the possibility to compare what you've written with the numerous...
If you like the TX750, go for it. It provides much more power than enough for handling your computer. Even a quality 650W would be enough.
Another high quality 750W PSUs are the following ones:
ANTEC TRUEPOWER NEW 750W (by Seasonic)
CORSAIR HX750 750W (by CWT)
Enermax MODU87+ 700W...
By the way. The basiq 550 that is nowadays available at newegg is not 80 plus certified. The new basiq 550W is. You can find both at the RealHardTechX PSU Review Database: http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page673.htm
