    Excellent news. I think I'll still wait for the reviews and maybe let them settle until the first week of January in case there are any issues.. I already have BF4 premium, so if it's bundled some lucky person is going to get my code for that one.

    Brutal pricing. Probably exactly in line with the meager performance advantage (I'm still not 100% sold on this as fact either) over the 7970. I'm pretty sure the 7970 is going to trade blows with this is many very demanding benchmarks.

    If true, that would would make a lot of difference. Especially with the extreme settings enabled. Funny that it says 4xAA Windowed though. Again, why are they running these tests at laptop lcd resolutions?!

    Nothing seems very obvious anymore imo. I'm thinking it's going to be rather similar in performance to the 7970 and be priced as such.

    Well that's interesting isn't it. FX 6100 is not a powerhouse and still much stronger numbers. Maybe it's because the 680 really is only at 700 core here.

    More anecdotal evidence, but I would say that a typical 7870's overclocking ability should easily overcome the performance difference with a GTX580 including when it is overclocked. Also to consider, from most reviews, the 7870 only tacks on like a 2c+ temperature even when heavily overclocked...
