    Kill an account?

I'd appreciate it if whomever would kill this account (I'm not seeing an email address for account issues, though I'm not looking terribly hard). Thanks.

Need sone help with choosing a laptop....

Is there not a massive graphical overhaul pending for EVE? It's obviously not a direct answer to your question, but if you're buying a laptop with the intention of playing on it, I'd imagine it would be disappointing if you all of a sudden had to play on ultra low settings a month or two later.

    Gears of War

I think it's an artistic decision. To me, the gritty grey look in concert with the third person view kind of lends an "embedded reporting" feel to the game - like you're running along behind them with a dv camera in your hand or watching the resultant report. I actually kind of like the...

    You spelled "plagiarism" wrong.

    2008 Jeep Renegade Concept

I don't know what jeep is like now, but the experiences I had with my friends' mid and late 90s Wranglers vs my CJ5 made me wonder whether jeep knew how to make anything other than jacked up minivans and were the reason I didn't buy a new wrangler when the 5 finally kicked the bucket.

    COD4 Ending disscusion - Spoilers

Oh yeah. I picked it up for the 360 when it first came out but never got around to finishing it. Regarding the PC version, the controls are tight, it looks great, and the feel is right on; Gears feels like a native PC title to me, not at all like a port (I'm looking at you and your wonky...

Empire Earth III - The Death of an RTS

This line made me laugh. Also made me google to see whether they still make Duplo blocks anymore. (abject curiosity, so sue me.) On topic, I guess I never really understood the appeal of the EE series. The first looked really good when it came out but didn't play terribly well (imo, of...

    Team Fortress 2 Preview

My friends and I played the hell out of Team Fortress Classic when it first came out, so i can't wait to see what this new version plays like. I'm really digging the cell-shaded bit, too.

That would rock (yay for daydreaming, eh?).

I have massively high hopes for Sins of a Solar Empire. Can't wait.

    Bethesda buys Fallout IP

Not flaming, but it's intended to be. For the life of me, I don't know why Oblivion sold the number of copies that it did. The "great" thing about the game in my eyes was the mount, and that was only because it "felt" right. Eh. Terminator: Future Shock was fun. The issue is that I don't...

    Bethesda buys Fallout IP

Scrapping the previous work that Black Isle did on van Buren effectively seals the Fallout franchise's fate in my mind. There's a lot of love for oblivion on these boards, I know, but it seemed like Diablo in first person to me. I have a hard time believing that Bethesda is capable of pulling...

    temperature outside.

Er...fans are a forced air solution, so they don't care whether the air outside the case is hotter than that inside. The temperature outside matters as heat transfer is based on the temperature differential. Thus a heatsink being supplied with a given amount of wattage in the form of heat will...
