    Ham And Scam Attack?

Is it possible for someone to jam a set of frequencies of certain network (or a set of ssids/networks they represent) yet allow others to connect to a rogue router, and then when a system does connect, listen as programs try to authenticate, giving up user names/passwords (possibly other...

The fix for eyefinity screen blackout issues

Which cable has e11932? That is part of the display adapter cable for me. e.g. The part # for the display adapter has several parts, but all the info (for mine anyway) is on the cable. The end nearest the adapter has on the cable e11932. I am testing on a card send from vendor which THEY...

The fix for eyefinity screen blackout issues

Someone inside AMD said their first patch of displayport adapters (specifically the HDMI ones - but maybe other ones as well) were defective. They didnt tell anyone outside of their company apparently because hardware vendors don't seem to know about this either. 10 to 1 I bet most people...

The fix for eyefinity screen blackout issues

Considering displayport specs calls for a minimum of handling 15m (not feet) of signal with sound at 1080p 60hz resolution shows a severe system design flaw with ATI eyefinity cards if they can't handle 6' (2m) from a normal hdmi cord connected to ATI's own displayport to HDMI adapter. Is the...

    5870 Eyefinity problem 3 30

I've been posting here: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread....post1035215467 and also here: http://forums.amd.com/game/messageview.cfm?catid=279&threadid=139945&enterthread=y I can't get solid information from anyone at the vendor or from Asus. The vendor claims that they havent seen this...

The fix for eyefinity screen blackout issues

I went over the details with gigabyte and asus - and both claim the card itself is supposedly fine and shouldn't do this... which either there are a ton of bad cards out there, the hardware design itself was/is flawed, driver issues, or bios issues. What is crazy is that between the driver...

The fix for eyefinity screen blackout issues

Nope - still got it once so far after doing it - its better, but it still seems like the card is not putting out enough voltage to keep a signal level to a lot of monitors / HDTV's. This problem is all over the internet - but AMD is not responding.

The fix for eyefinity screen blackout issues

I was watching the monitor/hdmi based (large high end hidef tv) and the screen went black with the 10.9 drivers (seems much better then anything before - the 10.9) - but this time it stayed black the second time it went black. I was like - hell - can't even see the screen now to do a proper...

The fix for eyefinity screen blackout issues

Ok some things. 10.7 and 10.8 drives definitely make this problem worse. AMD says their engineering dept is working on it but have no clues as to a release. 10.6 after driversweeper and clear install with proper reboots helps for some. Gigabyte doesn't have later bios than AMD has and is...

The fix for eyefinity screen blackout issues

BTW I am assuming "random blackouts" means the screen loses the signal and then has to search for the signal again.

Anyone? Or is there another way to boost the signal so that the monitor doesn't loose it?

Asus P6x58D Premium. No raid for the Marval SATA 6GB?

Is there even a way to boot ONE drive off of these ports? I thought at least with raid microsoft raid could go and do this... but apparently that isnt possible from what I read on the other forums. However, ok lets say I give up on the raid for the 9123 Marvell Controller 6g ports. Can I at...

Windows 2008 R2 Integration with Free BSD /ZFS need help/advice.

Sigh. Apparently FreeBSD does like the hardware just not so much AMD hardware, which is what I have. It amazes me that FreeBSD is basically like Linux was 10-15 years ago in terms of hardware support etc. Even reading their web page talking about zip drives... I use to sell zip drives 20 years...
