Aha!!! I had/have the same problem on my P4 2.4B @ 3.13GHz/ Asus P4PE system, although only intermittently. I swapped around my power connectors so that the card had it's own single feed (to the 2 Molexes) from my Antec Neo 430 PSU and things became more stable. I think it may be power...
