Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Find out if there is a office furniture supply store near you that offers previously leased desks.
I found a very nice solid wood (no particleboard crap) "L" shaped desk for $300 used. In the front of the store, the same desk was well over $600 new. A lot of business will lease furniture...
My 4870x2 ran like crap in WoW at first, and it would crash to desktop if I had the shadows turned on at all. Then I ran the Riva system monitor and found that the card was not clocking up from the default 2d settings of 500/500 because I was running the game in a window. For some reason WoW...
From my experiences with Max, his systems are often just over what you would pay for the parts from Newegg.
My system was built; the OS was installed, CPU was over clocked, and everything was delivered for just under $200 over what it would have cost me to order the parts from Newegg. And...
I guess Ive had my system from Max now for about three and a half months or so, and I am completely satisfied. So, I have nothing but good things to say about Max and my experience with him and his company.
Max provides great work at a VERY inexpensive price. My system came in at the price...
I have the same problem.
While running Wow windowed both my GPU and CPU would remain under clocked due to their power savers. I turned off the motherboard power saver in the bios, but I was unable to find a way to do the same thing for the video card. I guess I haven't looked hard enough...
Careful there, Basic. You might want to look at the forum rules before talking about a personal business you may have.
And to the OP,
I also bought from MaxFPC and have no complaints. I was given both excellent advice/service and the equipment I wanted. There aren't too many places...
I have the same case, and I love it. It's not as snazy as my old Lian Li, but the cooling is amazing!
Also, if you can find a few extra bucks, you might want to go with a little bigger PSU.
Not sure if you guys have seen this site before, but MaxForce PC has some of the best prices I have ever seen. I found this site through one of Tom's Hardware's PC review articals and have yet to find a cheaper Custom PC builder. Normally his prices end up running about 7-10% over online costs...
