No I did not overclock, it was the automatic Bosst that kepler has. It was boosting to 1188mhz even though it was supposed to go only till 1056mhz. After downclocking by 100mhz it now runs on 1088 perfectly stable. Basically it was higher that it was supposed to be out of the box, I never did...
I had already flashed the F12 bios.
Yep you were right, turns out the Graphics card was running at a max boost clock of 1188, and by offsetting to -100 fixed the issue it now runs at a perfectly stable 1088. For some reason I was thinking that it was running at 1088 earlier too, after reading...
Did a -100 in Precision X and works fine. But for some reason the Precision X hardware monitoring logs still say I am running at 980, weird...
Anyway should I RMA, since the stock OC is not stable?
So, I just upgraded my graphics card from a GTX 560 Ti to a GTX 670 Windforce edition. I have run into a weird issue where my screen blacks out for a second or so while playing a game and after that the FPS drops down to 10-20FPS and some games(Crysis Warhead, BF3) simply crash. I am on the...
Had the same issue when I was on WHQL drivers
Will try another version of the drivers. Have tried 301 and 306, not 304. If the OC is unstable isn't that a hardware fault requiring me to RMA since I haven't OCed the card and the OC is just the OC that gigabyte did.
So i recently upgraded my desktop video card from a Zotac 560 Ti to a Gigabyte Windforce OC GTX 670. But something is not right. Whenever I am playing a game, after some time the screen goes blank for a second or 2 and then either the game stops working(in case of BF3) or I experience serious...
A 6850x2 setup costs almost the same as a 6950 or a GTX 560Ti. It seems to be the best bang for buck performance. My question is that how bad is the micro stuttering. I am mostly concerned about BF3.
Also I have a Asrock p67 Extreme 4 gen 3, it has supports 2 pcie in 8x, will it be a good idea...
well i think the new Nvidia kepler cards are gonna be out of my price range, which is around 350$. Nvidia is probably gonna be launching the GTX 680/670 first, it could be months before there is a kepler card in my range. I am gonna return my GTX 560Ti within the 30 day return period cause i...
I have a CX600 V2 PSU, am thinking of getting a better GPU(currently running a GTX 560Ti). How high can i go without being concerned about the PSU? I am currently thinking of getting either one of these - GTX 570, GTX 580 or a GTX 480
Here are the specs of my system -
i5 2550k(not OCed yet...
