    I like hit the lottery I guess, I think it was 2024, or summer of 2025, but I got 32 gb team group Xtreem, 7200 cl36, crazy ram, for... $70. It was microcenter super sale or something, but I think they just couldn't sell it because it was the color pink.

    Hey, I have a q9450, but I only have a crappy old single channel ddr2 board to go with it, so I want to get a decent board for LGA 775, no real preference, just PM me with what you have! Mostly just for some retro stuff, LGA 775 is the gap I have in my hardware.

Honestly though, I'd really really like to try x299, but that is RIDICULOUSLY expensive, even compared to x99. Either way, just some goal...
