    Yes it is totally dumb. No hard switch and i have not tried to install the driver. I downloaded it but unsure about how you install it😂 There was no solution in that link....only bitching about the fact that there is a fan😂

    Yes. But not when i enable displayport deep sleep. But then i get the framerate issue that ut locks to 82hz after wake.

    So it is correct that the fan should be on at all times even og the monitor is turned off? At least this way i don't get the dropping to 82hz issue.

    Yes, that is one way to fix it. But then the fan will not stop spinning. I don't mind it spinning when i am not there, but it can't be good or right?

    I have been through 5 different monitor of this kind. They all have had the same issue. I have tried with both stock cable and a brand new one. The fan is not loud, but it always runs.

    Nope I have to either unplug the monitor or have it reboot via the OC in the osd. I can't seem to figure this problem out

When the monitor is wakened from sleep, i have Displayport deep sleep activated, the monitor drops from whatever HZ i have set it to(usually 120hz or 144hz) to 82hz.
