Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Nope, they charged more for their 3D Pro drives, they'll charge relative to those. Maybe after the first generation or two there will be significant declines...
Samsung consistently charges more than Micron, but at least with 3D Nand they have a reason to.
Do you even give a damn about whether birds are dying? If you do, you better be a vegetarian.
Fossil fuel also kills birds. Not to mention damaging an entire ecosystem when something breaks. The Gulf of Mexico oil spill wasn't that long ago...
LEDs save money by using less and lasting...
No program is the same.
I've also found IBT starts losing Gflops when you aren't completely stable but stable enough to not crash.
I get 78Gflops@3.63Ghz no HT. HT might lower the score a bit. I was getting 90 when I was trying to see what the chip could do at 4Ghz+.
The only thing a Devil's Canyon review needs is old i5/i7 OC vs DC i5/i7 OC on some decent air cooler or perhaps water.
Hexus tests stock with stock cooling with a bunch of irrelevant tests. The only thing semi-useful was the power consumption.
I hate driving for the most part. City driving sucks, nerve-wracking with all those cars. Long stretches of highway is boring.
The only places I find it enjoyable around here are windy mountain roads where if I make a mistake I fall to my death.
I would enjoy a self-driving car... I do not...
There wasn't anything wrong with the stock cooler, was there? That should've only been using the crappy but works push-pins(though using the CM212 system when the screws don't fit quite right is a big pain).
Sounds simple enough if it's just the bracket though. Hoping to hear the results.
It sounds like there isn't any solder between the CPU and IHS or something like that.
I used to run a 920@3.2Ghz on the stock cooler. Idle 40C/Load 70C in 21C ambient. And you put a Kuhler on it for only a 5C drop just makes me think 'air gap'.
I keep flip flopping back and forth on it. It makes sense that it would be all of the uncore and the Dram voltage is for the DIMMs only(but still has an effect on Intel's controller?).
I always assume the CPU is limited by switching speed instead of switching strength so I'd agree with...
