    Thanks for the reply. I will do that. I plan on rolling back 1 version at a time until it works. Also, you think its worth going back to 5.0? I also do not have the IBM customized version of ESXi. That might be worth a try as well.

    Pulling the CMOS battery reset the BIOS as intended, and I re-enabled VT-d. However, ESXi didn't recognize the change. I am running out of ideas.

    I have an IBM x3650 M2 7947-52U. I initially had ESXi 5.0 installed, and upgraded to 5.1 a few months ago. I also upgrade my BIOS during that time as well. Before any of those upgrades, I had DirectPath working. I was planning on passing through a BR10i SAS controller to a Nexenta VM...
